That sounds like a song by ……… Well it appears that we can amend this to a little, tiny, bit of winter, Spring starts in February, Summer starts 1st of March and goes till November, don’t know if or about Fall.
Put the snowmobiles away, get the rake and clean the pine needles off the grass, and let’s go ATV’ing.
No need to plant any flowers or a garden as its all ready play time. Yeee haaa
well the snows melted, and the long range shows no more snow storms through March.
Time to plant flowers and wait for April showers………..
The mother of all wind storms blew into town and now the powers out. No camera, fish are cold, can’t turn on the Paul heater, don’t know if theres any snow ( although I doubt it) Oh yea it rained also.
More to come…
What to do, what to do……
Guess I better get on the road or make like the wind and blow…..
RAIN COULD BE LOCALLY HEAVY AT TIMES ESPECIALLY FOR COASTAL RANGES
WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS FORECAST FOR NORTH BAY LOCATIONS.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS BY SATURDAY NIGHT ARE FORECAST TO BE 3 TO 5
INCHES FOR THE NORTHERN SONOMA COUNTY WITH 1 AND A HALF TO 3
INCHES EXPECTED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE NORTH BAY PLUS THE SANTA
CRUZ AND SANTA LUCIA MOUNTAINS.
Remember 1″ of rain is equal to a FOOT of snow in normal years. Hehehehehehe is this a normal year????? We’ll see………
Yea that is the forecast today, mid- February that’s 1,2,3,4 weeks? ok so much for winter. No need to buy a new sled you won’t get much use in March and then it’s a year old with only 50 miles on it. But… there will be deals galore or they all get shipped to New York cause their getting lam basted with over 2 feet of snow. hahahahaha
Certainly that weather man has not been to Bucks Lake in a ‘normal’ winter. He was gushing about the huge amount of snow, 2 feet?
The high temperature yesterday at Bucks was 53 degrees.
Bring on summer!!
Spring time has come to the meadow, mother nature is changing the scene. Gone are the snows of the winter time now the earth wears a carpet of green. Very soon very soon……..
Long Range Forecast:
Rain, snow, fire, excessive heat, earthquake, hurricane, high winds, falling trees, meteors, excessive tides, lenticular clouds, sunmi’s, blizzards, taxes, 900 new laws start on 1-5-15. Bring your own bag to the market… And you thought I was giving you a weather forecast. lol
Oh and have a nice day.
The high for today was 32.2 at Bucks Lake and 82 at Coco Beach Florida. What a difference a few miles makes. Must be the latitude. the rest of the week it’s going to be in the teen’s. 10, 17,19 teen
No snow in the forecast so it’s about time to look for another sport. Oh wait snowmobiling is a great sport, just need some more snow.
Happy New year and be safe out there. lol
Well the forecast is for sunny and clear and high’s in the 30’s through next week. Thats not the 2 feet of fresh powder I want but since I can’t dance (snow dance) I guess we’ll start looking for a new adventure to bring in the new year. Any suggestions.
HaHa I may go look for a snow cat on craigslist!
Chicken little says “the lake level is falling, the lake level is falling” then Marin says that all the reservoirs are overflowing and this is the most water ever in December. Marin declared a state of emergency due to the flooding. They are breaching levees to let all the water out to the bay.
The Sacramento news says we are 117% of normal rainfall for the month of December.
But….. Roseville put in an emergency surcharge” on the water bill and the water police are still looking for people who are watering their lawns on the wrong day. My back yard at home is flooded, the creek is rising, hwy 101 is closed due to flooding, I am not sure the government has the right message here.
All I want for Christmas is snow, snow, snow, and time to ride the snowmobiles. Bring on the family and friends
What should I put in my eggnog?
WOW that’s all I can say about the MOAS (or lack there of) a little over a foot of snow and light winds here. But a tree fell at the BLL and broke the PG&E pole then to top things off landed next to a 1,000 gallon propane tank and rolled the tank over on it’s valve. Propane smells like ahh….. anyway thanks to the fire department we are now safe and sound, still on generator power, don’t worry be happy. After all we are at Bucks Lake.
More snow forecast next week bring it on
“Where’s the snow” That’s all I hear now a days. Oh well it will come along soon enough. Bring on Christmas.
Santa baby bring me a new Polaris… or Arctic Cat.. and don’t forget the Triton trailer too
Welcome to 2012 long range weather says no snow till mid-January, whats up with that?
